Bavaria Polo Club: Electric, the best of the Edelweiss Cup

The Bavaria Polo Club e.V., one of the oldest polo clubs in Germany and a member of the German Polo Association, organized a spectacular medium handicap tournament, the "Edelweiss Cup".

Great local players participated as well as players from Argentina, Ireland, Italy and Austria. The best of the weekend was Electric Polo, among the four registered that participated. Sarah Braune, Sascha Kiener, Santiago Marambio and Fatima Balsano played for the champíon.

"We are very happy to finish the tournament, which had a very high level, with two great days of polo and a third one that we had to cancel the action due to rain. We are very happy, we received great players like Santi and Fatima, who played for Electric and won a great duel by half a goal to Tagmersheim's team. There were incredible matches, the field was up to par and there was a great atmosphere among everyone", Patricia Rohde-Deutsch, press officer of the Bavaria Polo Club e.V., told us.

The MVP was Nina Strasser of the Bachmair Weissach team, and Prince Georg Prinz zu Bentheim was the commentator for the matches.

Betz Couture (Chiemsee), with the great Eva Brühl, and Hotel Bachmair Weissach completed the teams. The matches were refereed by the experienced HPA referee Alex Roldan. A great weekend of polo at the Bavaria Polo Club, despite the rain.

El Bavaria Polo Club e.V., uno de los clubes de polo más antiguos de Alemania y miembro de la Asociación Alemana de Polo, organizó un espectacular torneo de mediano hándicap, por la "Edelweiss Cup".

Participaron grandes jugadores locales y también de la Argentina, Irlanda, Italia y Austria. En lo deportivo, el mejor del fin de semana fue Electric Polo, entre los cuatro conjuntos inscriptos. El campeón formó con Sarah Braune, Sascha Kiener, Santiago Marambio como el más valorizado del torneo y la gran jugadora Fatima Balsano.

"Estamos muy felices de terminar el torneo, que tuvo un nivel muy alto, con dos grandes días de polo y un tercero que tuvimos que cancelar la acción por la lluvia. Estamos muy contentos, recibimos a grandes jugadores como Santi y Fatima, que jugaron para Electric y le ganaron un gran duelo por medio gol al team de Tagmersheim. Hubo partidos increíbles, la cancha estuvo a la altura y hubo muy buena onda entre todos", nos comentó Patricia Rohde-Deutsch, encargada de prensa del Bavaria Polo Club e.V. Como datos vale mencionar que la MVP fue Nina Strasser, del conjunto Bachmair Weissach, y que Prince Georg Prinz zu Bentheim fue el comentarista de los partidos, dándole color a cada jornada deportiva. Betz Couture (Chiemsee), con la gran Eva Brühl, y Hotel Bachmair Weissach completaron los teams. Los partidos estuvieron arbitrados por el experimentado árbitro de la HPA Alex Roldán. Gran fin de semana que ni la lluvia pudo opacar en el Bavaria Polo Club.
