Tercera coronación consecutiva para Isolas en Iridike, esta vez se quedó con el Torneo Apertura del Verano. Pasó un nuevo fin de semana a puro polo en las canchas de Puente de Hierro de Santa María Polo Club el pasado 1, 2 y 3 de julio con un destacado evento. ENGLISH VERSION BELOW
La temporada 2022 del club continua a paso firme en Sotogrande, este fue el cuarto torneo que organiza Iridike, siendo una de las propuestas más interesantes del verano europeo en cuanto a polo bajo. Tras disputar el Torneo La Quinta 2022, Torneo Intercomunitario Absoluto y el Torneo Concentración Absoluto, pasó el Torneo Apertura del Verano de hasta 4 goles.
Nuevamente el conjunto de Isolas se impuso y se quedó con el trofeo mayor. Al igual que en las dos últimas competencias, el elenco marcó su superioridad y festejó su tercer titulo en fila. En esta oportunidad, venció en la final a Iridike Polo por 6 a 4 en un gran partido que supo ser atrapante. Ambos equipos llegaron a la definición luego de ganar su dos primeros encuentros clasificatorios.
Dichos triunfos fueron frentes a Dany´s y Sola Group quienes fueron los encargados de disputar la Copa Subsidiaria, la misma fue para Dany´s quien se impuso por 5,5 a 3. Los partidos se jugaron a cuatro chukkers de 6:30 minutos sin empates con el arbitraje de Mario Gómez.
Recordamos que la actividad comenzó el viernes 1 de julio desde las 18hs en la cancha 2 y luego a las 19hs en cancha 1 de Puente de Hierro. Los partidos continuaron el sábado, en mismo horario, donde se pudo definir los finalistas de este gran torneo que culminó el domingo al mediodía.
Gran fin de semana se vivió con un torneo competitivo y divertido el cual se pudo disfrutar con amigos y familia en un lugar super agradable donde se respira buena onda y camaradería. Santa María es uno de los lugares más destacados de Sotogrande con sus 3 canchas de Puente de Hierro, 60 boxes y 100 corrales que lo posicionan como uno de los clubes más importantes de España y la región.
Vale destacar que Iridike tiene club propio en Jimena de la Frontera, desde hace unos seis años, con facilidades para jugar todo el año en sus dos canchas. Al no parar en toda la temporada, la idea fue de llevar el polo bajo de hasta 4 goles a Santa María.

Summer Opening Tournament, Isola reigns in Iridike
Third consecutive coronation for Isolas in Iridike, this time he won the Summer Opening Tournament. A new weekend of pure polo was spent at the Puente de Hierro fields of Santa María Polo Club on July 1st, 2nd and 3rd with an outstanding event.
The 2022 season of the club continues at a steady pace in Sotogrande, this was the fourth tournament organized by Iridike, being one of the most interesting proposals of the European summer in terms of low polo. After disputing the La Quinta 2022 Tournament, the Absolute Intercommunity Tournament and the Absolute Concentration Tournament, the Summer Opening Tournament of up to 4 goals took place.
Once again, the Isolas team won and won the main trophy. As in the last two competitions, the team showed its superiority and celebrated its third title in a row. On this occasion, they defeated Iridike Polo in the final by 6 to 4 in a great match that was very exciting. Both teams reached the final after winning their first two qualifying matches.
These victories were against Dany's and Sola Group, who were in charge of disputing the Subsidiary Cup, which was won by Dany's by 5.5 to 3. The matches were played in four chukkers of 6:30 minutes with no ties and refereed by Mario Gómez.
We remind that the activity started on Friday, July 1st at 6 pm on court 2 and then at 7 pm on court 1 of Puente de Hierro. The matches continued on Saturday, at the same time, where the finalists of this great tournament were defined and ended on Sunday at noon.
A great weekend was lived with a competitive and fun tournament which could be enjoyed with friends and family in a super nice place where you can breathe good vibes and camaraderie. Santa Maria is one of the most outstanding places in Sotogrande with its 3 courts of Puente de Hierro, 60 boxes and 100 pens that position it as one of the most important clubs in Spain and the region.
It is worth mentioning that Iridike has its own club in Jimena de la Frontera, since about six years ago, with facilities to play all year round in its two courts. Not stopping all season, the idea was to bring the low polo up to 4 goals to Santa Maria.
