El sábado 28 de mayo por la tardenoche en Villa Borghese concluyó el cuadrangular del circuito Italia Polo Challenge Roma 2022, que se juega con la fórmula del Arena Polo de tres vs tres. Ante un numeroso y entusiasta público, la final se la adjudicó Harpa Pure por 8 a 6 sobre U.S. Polo Assn. El protagonista absoluto de la jornada fue el argentino Pedro Fernández Llorente, que marcó siete de los ocho goles del equipo ganador.

El tercer puesto fue para Gennargentu que se impuso a Tenuta Montemagno por 5,5 a 3. Después de Cortina d'Ampezzo (snow polo) y Roma, al igual que en 2021, el circuito Italia Polo Challenge ha programado una tercera etapa en Costa Esmeralda: la cita está fijada del martes 28 de junio al sábado 2 de julio, en el campo de Abbiadori en Arzachena.
Italia Polo Challenge comenzó en 2018 de la mano de Patricio Rattagan, quien es el principal organizador de este evento que reúne a personalidades destacadas del polo, no solo de Italia, sino también, de todo el mundo. El torneo cuenta con el apoyo de la Federazione Italiana Sport Equistri (FISE).
