Nautor´s Swan se quedó con La Mimosa Gold Cup

Concluyó una nueva edición de la GOLD CUP de La Mimosa Polo Club, en Milán, un certamen de hasta 10 goles que tuvo lugar del 9 al 12 de septiembre y contó con cobertura in-situ de PRENSA POLO.

Three days of good polo are coming up at La Mimosa Polo Club, Milan, with the GOLD CUP, a 10-goal tournament that will take place from September 9 to 12. On site coverage by PRENSA POLO.

La Mimosa Polo Club ASD se ubica en Pogliano Milanese, una localidad cercana al centro de Milán. Allí cuatro fuertes equipos de entre 7 y 8 goles disputaron el tercer y más importante torneo de este club del norte de Italia. Los conjuntos fueron La Mimosa Alcover, Nautor´s-Swan, Great Oaks y El Porteño, todos con fuerte presencia internacional y jugadores de múltiples países y vale resaltar a Ginevra Visconti y Alice Cora, las únicas jugadoras del certamen. El día sábado tras las semifinales hubo un lindo noveno chukker con música y asado.

En cuanto a lo deportivo, el certamen se lo adjudicó Nautor´s-Swan (Ginevra Visconti, Giacomo Galatino, Segundo Cavanagh y Juani González), tras vencer en la final por medio gol (7-6,5) a La Mimosa Alcover. El partido por el tercer puesto fue para Great Oaks por 6-4 sobre El Porteño. Premio BPP para Ronalda, de Matias Coria. Goleador del torneo (triple empate), para Tweety Rivera, Matías Coria y Gusi García Del Río.

La Mimosa Polo Club cuenta con caballerizas para unos 80 caballos, 2 hermosas canchas de polo reglamentarias, una pista de arena, un campo de arena polo, un magnífico parque y un club house para nuestros socios e invitados. Allí funciona, además, una escuela de polo dirigida por un instructor profesional.

English version. The Mimosa Polo Club ASD is located in Pogliano Milanese, a town near the center of Milan. There, four strong 7-8 goal teams competed in the most important tournament of the club, the GOLD CUP. The teams was La Mimosa Alcover, Nautor´s-Swan, Great Oaks and El Porteño, all with a strong international presence and players from many countries and it is worth mentioning Ginevra Visconti and Alice Coria, the only female players in the tournament.

In terms of sports, the competition was won by Nautor´s-Swan (Ginevra Visconti, Giacomo Galatino, Segundo Cavanagh and J. Gonzáles), after defeating La Mimosa Alcover by half a goal (7-6.5) in the final. The match for third place went to Great Oaks by 6-4 over El Porteño. BPP award for "Ronalda", by Matias Coria. Tournament goal scorer (triple tie), for Tweety Rivera, Matias Coria and Gusi Garcia Del Rio.

La Mimosa Polo Club has stables for about 80 horses, 2 beautiful regulation polo fields, a sand court, a sand polo field, a magnificent park and a club house for our members and guests. There is also a polo school run by a professional instructor.
