On August, 20th & 21st took place the first Largovia Ladies Cup, in which 4 teams participated. Largovia Polo has been proudly hosting for the first time this woman’s tournament. Over two days players from Switzerland & Germany were showing their riding & polo sklls.
Luckily they had enough rain the week before and the polo field was in excellent condition. During the tournament they had great weather, which brought many spectators to the Largovia Polo Club. On both days we had very exciting & tight games.

The whole team that organized the tournament (Largovia Polo, Swiss Polo Academy & Gabriel Eckenstein) is very happy about the success of the first Largovia Ladies Cup & we are already planning another edition for next year. Until then our goal is to generate more female players to even have more teams participating.

Largovia Ladies Cup: gran fin de semana de polo femenino
El fin de semana del 20 y 21 de agosto se jugó la primera edición de la Largovia Ladies Cup. Dado que Largovia Polo consta de un 80% de jugadoras y el polo femenino en Suiza en general está creciendo muy rápidamente, se pensó en dedicar un fin de semana solo a las mujeres. La idea es jugar con 4 equipos, con jugadores de varios clubes de Suiza y Alemania.
Con el objetivo de generar nuevas polistas y seguir ampliando la base de polo femenino del Largovia Polo, que consta en un 80% por mujeres, se planificó este lindo torneo con cuatro equipos con jugadoras de varios clubes de Suiza y Alemania. Contó con la organización de Swiss Polo Academy y además del polo hubo actividades como clases de yoga.
Apoyaron el evento Viva Con Agua, Goba, Goldeimer & Bluu, sponsors que empiezan a estar representados en el deporte del polo y elegidas por ser todas empresas muy comprometidas con la sustentabilidad.
