The ninth edition of the Lawyers Polo Tournamen 2022, at the Plett Polo Club in South Africa, has ended. A new great success for the South African polo, which was played from Tuesday, March 14 to Saturday, March 19.
This great edition featured a total of 10 teams formed by internationally renowned lawyers who gathered around polo to share the spirit of the sport and, in addition, help with solidarity causes to local communities. There were a variety of social events, day and night, sporting activity and a lot of camaraderie throughout the week of the tournament. In terms of sports, Al Maria team, with Jacinto Peralta Ramos, Miguel Caetano, Filipe Almeida and Jossie Spilsbury, won the Gold Cup in this ninth edition. Mena Lega was runner-up and the local team Plett Polo won the Silver Cup. When it came to individual awards, MVP Silver Cup Daniel Hurstel, MGP Silver Cup Emma Gordon, MVP Gold Cup Jacinto Peralta Ramos and MGP Gold Cup Christoph Kerres stood out.
In this edition there was the presence of law professionals from: Argentina, Austria, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, France, Germany, India, Macau, Malaysia, Portugal, Slovakia, Singapore, Switzerland, Chile, Venezuela, United Kingdom and the United States.
About to celebrate its first decade, this tournament was created by Eduardo Bereterbide, a successful Argentine lawyer based in Paris, passionate about polo and horses, with the aim of bringing together all the lawyers in the world who play polo. Thus the Lawyers Polo association was founded in 2008, with law and chivalry as its main pillars.
Lawyers Polo also focuses on giving back to the local community and each year they work with an infant charity. The organizations are Sabrina Love Foundation and The Plettenberg Bay Music Field Band.

Pasó la novena edición del Lawyers Polo Tournament 2022, en el Plett Polo Club de Sudáfrica. Un nuevo gran suceso para el polo sudafricano, que se jugó desde el martes 14 hasta el sábado 19 de marzo.
Esta gran edición contó con un total de 10 equipos formados por abogados de renombre internacional que se reunieron en torno al polo para compartir el espÃritu del deporte y, a su vez, ayudar con causas solidarias a las comunidades locales. En un lugar y entorno único en las costas de Pletterberg Bay. Hubo variados eventos sociales, de dÃa y de noche, actividad deportiva y mucha camaderÃa a lo largo de la semana del torneo. En cuanto a lo estrictamente deportivo, se consagró campéon de la Gold Cup en esta novena edición el conjunto de Al MarÃa, con Jacinto Peralta Ramos, Miguel Caetano, Filipe Almeida y Jossie Spilsbury. Fue finalista Mena Lega y ganó la Silver Cup el team de nombre local Plett Polo. A la hora de los premios individuales, se destacaron MVP Silver Cup Daniel Hurstel, MGP Silver Cup Emma Gordon, MVP Gold Cup Jacinto Peralta Ramos y MGP Gold Cup Christoph Kerres.
En esta edición hubo presencia de profesionales de las leyes de: Argentina, Austria, Canadá, México, Colombia, Francia, Alemania, India, Macao, Malasia, Portugal, Eslovaquia, Singapur, Suiza, Chile, Venezuela, Reino Unido y Estados Unidos.
A punto de cumplir una década, dicho torneo nació de la mano de Eduardo Bereterbide, un exitoso abogado argentino radicado en ParÃs, apasionado por el polo y los caballos, con el objetivo de reunir a todos los abogados del mundo que juegan al polo. Asà se fundó la asociación Lawyers Polo en 2008, con la ley y la caballerosidad como principales pilares.
Lawyers Polo también se centra en devolverle algo a la comunidad local y cada año trabajan con una organización benéfica para infantes. Las organizaciones son Sabrina Love Foundation y The Plettenberg Bay Music Field Band.
