A very tough tournament at Port Mayaca, with 10 teams vying for the win. Two extremely close semi-finals turned out a fantastic final between Eureka and Blandings.
Eureka came out on fire, scoring three unanswered goals in the first chukker. Blandings rallied in the next chukkers to end the first half tied 5 all. The fourth chukker ended 7 all, with field goals by the Cernadas brothers answered by goals from the penalty line from MVP Carlitos Gracida. The fifth chukker was a strong one for Eureka- with three unanswered goals to enter the last chukker head 10-7. Blandings rallied, two goals from the penalty line for Carlitos, and a field goal by Costi Caset tied the game. With a minute and half left, Tommy Collingwood broke away to give Blandings the lead. Still anyone's game, Eureka played hard until the very end...but with under 30 seconds on the clock, Stewart Burkland scored to seal the win for Blandings.

Una gran 14 goles con mucha acción se desarrolló en el Port Mayaca Polo Club de Florida. Con 10 formaciones, se jugó el Live Oak Challenge y las dos semifinales fueron muy parejas y resultaron en una final fantástica entre Eureka y Blandings.
Eureka arrancó con todo el partido decisivo; Blandings recién se recuperó en los siguientes chukkers para terminar la primera mitad empatados en 5. El cuarto chukker siguió igualado, el siguiente Eureka sacó una ventaja de tres (10-7), pero Blandings otra vez se recuperó, en el último periodo, con dos goles de penal de Carlitos Gracida (MVP), y goles de juego de Costi Caset para empatar y Tommy Collingwood y Stewart Burkland para sellar la victoria de Blandings por 12 a 10, con un tremendo parcial de 5-0!
