Finalizó el Palmetto Challenge 14-goal, primera de ese nivel en Port Mayaca Polo Club, Florida. Se trató de una competencia para 6 equipos, en simultáneo con el Stephen Orthwein Memorial Cup 8-goal y el NYTS Championship Teams.
En la definición SD Farms derrotó ajustadamente a Banks Mill Feeds. Un partidazo de polo entre los dos mejores equipos (de los 6 que arrancaron el torneo). El ganador habÃa entrado al último chukker por delante de Banks Mill Feeds por 9 a 5, pero una actuación impresionante del equipo finalista, con dos golazos de Geronimo Obregon (en el Best Playing Pony Chala) forzaron el suplementario. En tiempo extra, Peco Polledo convirtió para ganar el juego y el campeonato por 10-9. MVP fue Sayuu Dantata Jr.
Palmetto Challenge 14-goal, the first of that level at Port Mayaca Polo Club, finished on Saturday, January 30th. It is a 6-team competition that has be played from simultaneously with the Stephen Orthwein Memorial Cup 8-goal and the NYTS Championship Teams. At the final game, SD Farms took an early lead against Banks Mill Feed, going into the second half 6 to 3 and maintaining the lead through the 5th. They started the last chukker ahead of Banks Mill Feeds 9 to 5. But an awesome performance by Banks Mill team, including two great goals by Geronimo Obregon on Best Playing Pony Chala, forced overtime, 9 all. In overtime, Peco Polledo converted a safety to win the game for SD Farm.
