Polo Park Zurich finalizó su temporada 2019, con la Patron's Cup, un evento exclusivo para patrones y que tuvo lugar entre el 21 y 22 de septiembre.
El certamen comenzó con las victorias de Equilibrium y San Francisco de Asis, quienes resultaron los finalistas.
Los encuentros decisivos se realizaron el domingo, arrancando con un round robin por el tercer puesto. Los partidos fueron muy ajustados, y como resultado, por diferencia de gol, el tercer puesto le correspondió a Los Lobos, en tanto que Polo Park Zurich y con lo cual por diferencia de gol, Los Lobos fue tercero, y Polo Park Zurich y Hausamman Polo, cuarto y quinto respectivamente.
La final entre Equilibrium y San Francisco de Asis fue otro cotejo muy disputado, que terminó 4 a 2 a favor de San Francisco de Asis.
En la entrega de premios, Shiva Strup fue el MVP, y se hizo una mención especial por la categoría Gold Members, de Polo Park Zurich, para jugadores que juegan mediano handicap, entre otros para Morgan van Oberbroek.
Como cierre de temporada, Polo Park Zurich ofreció distintos eventos. El sábado por la noche, se realizó una comida especial auspiciada por KA/NOA, la marca italiana de ropa para hombres, con la asistencia de 60 invitados que disfrutaron de una noche única, mientras que el domingo hubo un gran asado argentino.
Además, el club realizó una competencia, en la que los participantes debían decir cuantos chukkers se jugaron a lo largo de la temporada. La ganadora fue Laetitia Clemens, que acertó el número: 805 chukkers, y como premio se llevó vendas nuevas para sus caballos. Por su parte, Sammy Jo Strub, fue la ganadora del top 5 de entre quienes más chukkers jugaron en Polo Park Zurich. Sammy jugó 198 en total.
Así pasó otra temporada en Polo Park Zurich, un club en el que el polo se conjuga a la perfección con la familia y los amigos. ¡Gracias a todos por venir y los esperamos el año que viene!
English version: The 2019 season at Polo Park Zurich came to an end with the Patron's Cup, an event set exclusively for patrons, that run through September 21-22.
On Satuday, Equilibrium and San Francisco de Asis, advanced to the final, due on Sunday.
Sunday action kicked off with a round robin for the third place. As the games were to tight, all was decided on goal difference. Therefore, Los Lobos claimed the third place while Polo Park Zurich and Hausamman Polo, were fourth and fifth, respectively.
The championship match between Equilibrium and San Francisco de Asis was a very close contest, and the trophy went to San Francisco de Asis, following their 4-2 win.
Shiva Strup took MVP honors and several players who usually play medium goal tournaments at the club were presented with the Polo Park Zurich Gold Members Award. Among those honorea was Morgan van Oberbroek.
And to close such a great season, Polo Park Zurich hosted special events. A dinner sponsored by the Italian men's clothing brand KA/NOA toook place on Saturday night, and had 60 people ion attendance who enjoyed a fantastic moment. And last but not least, everybody joined for an Argentine asado on Sunday.
In addition, the club hosted two special competitions. The players had to say how many chukkas were played throughout the season. Laetitia Clemens got the number - 805 chukkas, and won bandages for her horses. Meanwhile, Sammy Jo Strub led the Top 5 among those who played the highest number of chukkas at Polo Park Zurich. Sammy played no less than 198 chukkas.
It has been a fantastic 2019 season at Polo Park Zurich, a club that brings together polo and the best values of life, family and friends.
