The best women's polo in the US met in Port Mayaca, FL, for the first women's cup in 2021 (some 2020 matches were completed recently). This was the Tabebuia Cup 18-22 Goal Women’s Handicap, preparatory to the Women´s US Open. Hawaii Polo Life and BTA/The Villages fought it out for the second time in a week in today's Tabebuia final. In a constant drizzle, the ladies played a great game. Both teams coming out strong in the first half, BTA/The Villages held the advantage at half time, ahead 3-2. Hawaii Polo Life's MVP Hazel Jackson scored to tie the game 3 all going into the last chukker. The final chukker was all Hawaii Polo Life- the team scored two from the field and converted an open goal to win the game 6-3.
