El Polo Park Zurich vibró con la Vecinos Cup

Finalizó un fin de semana a puro polo en Suiza tras disputarse la Vecinos Cup el pasado 3, 4 y 5 de septiembre en el Polo Park & Country Club Zurich. La tradicional copa contó con siete equipos inscriptos divididos entre el mediano y bajo hándicap.

En esta edición, el mediano estuvo compuesto por tres equipos de lo cuales Altaris fue el ganador por diferencia de gol ya que todos los equipos ganaron un encuentro en un formato de todos contra todos. Por su parte, en el bajo hándicap quien se consagró campeón fue Bio-R.

La Vecinos Cup, es una copa que nació entre los campos vecinos de la zona de Lobos, en Argentina, y que luego se trasladó a Zurich desde hace ya siete años. Desde sus inicios, Sébastien Le Page y Morgan Van Oberbroek fueron sponsors del evento que tiene la particularidad de tener como trofeo a una damajuana de vino antigua, como símbolo de reunión entre amigos y familia.

Como en otros eventos, el club conto con el apoyo de Kensington International, Perrier-Jouët y Piaget con MVP (para Miguel Amieva, del equipo Altaris) y MVP mujer (para Katja Grauwiler, del equipo G-Squared)

De esta manera, Polo Park Zurich sumó un nuevo torneo a su gran agenda, tras disputar el Swiss Low Goal Championship, Zurich International Ladies Cup, Kensington Polo Trophy, Zurich Championship Medium Goal, Polo Park & Country Club Zurich Cup, Gold Cup y la Copa San Francisco de Asis en una completa y competitiva temporada.

A weekend of pure polo in Switzerland came to an end after the Vecinos Cup was held on September 3, 4 and 5 at the Polo Park & Country Club Zurich. The traditional cup had seven registered teams divided between medium and low handicap.

In this edition, the medium handicap was made up of three teams, of which Altaris was the winner by goal difference, since all the teams won a match in a round-robin format. In the low handicap category, Bio-R was the champion.

The Vecinos Cup is a cup that was born among the neighboring fields in the area of Lobos, Argentina, and then moved to Zurich seven years ago. Since its beginnings, Sébastien Le Page and Morgan Van Oberbroek have been sponsors of the event, which has the particularity of having an old wine "damajuana" as a trophy, as a symbol of reunion between friends and family.
